Terms & Conditions

By accepting a quotation and/or making payment to Floor Ace, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations issued by Floor Ace are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Prices remain subject to increases imposed by manufacturers, suppliers or other relevant third parties. Should such an increase occur before materials are ordered, Floor Ace reserves the right to adjust the quotation accordingly.

2. Product Care and Maintenance
To ensure the best performance, appearance and lifespan of the flooring product, clients are required to follow the applicable manufacturer’s care and maintenance instructions. Failure to follow these recommendations may affect the product warranty and/or performance.

3. Furniture and Personal Belongings
The client is responsible for removing or relocating furniture, personal belongings and other items from the installation area before work commences. Where Floor Ace agrees to assist with moving furniture or other items, this will be done at the client’s own risk.

4. Damage and Liability
Floor Ace will take reasonable care while carrying out work on the client’s premises. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Floor Ace cannot be held liable for accidental damage to furniture, personal belongings or other items, particularly where Floor Ace has been requested to move or handle such items.

5. Scope of Quotation
The quotation includes only the products, materials, labour and services specifically stated in the quotation. Any additional work, materials, preparation or services that become necessary or are requested by the client will be quoted and charged separately.

6. Workmanship Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Floor Ace provides a one-year warranty on workmanship, calculated from the date the installation is completed. This workmanship warranty applies to defects resulting directly from the installation performed by Floor Ace and does not cover product defects, normal wear and tear, misuse, moisture-related issues, structural movement, inadequate maintenance or damage caused by third parties.

Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the individual manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms and conditions.

7. Deposits, Stock Orders and Returns
Once the required deposit has been received, Floor Ace will proceed with ordering the agreed stock and materials. Once stock has been ordered, cancellations, exchanges or returns will not be accepted, subject to the client’s rights under applicable South African consumer law.

Any additional or surplus material specifically ordered for the project remains subject to the relevant supplier or manufacturer’s return policy.

8. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the deposit and/or written acceptance of a Floor Ace quotation will be regarded as confirmation that the client has read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
